How to Change currency format to Indian style?

Do you see currency as 1,333,452,265 instead of 1,33,34,52,265 ? you can change the currency style to Indian grouping style. Just follow the steps shown below:

1.      Go  to control panel and open Date, Time, Language and Regional Options.

2.      Click on Change the format of numbers, dates and times.

3.      Click on Customize.

4.      Click on currency.

5.      Select from drop down list in Digit Grouping.

6.      Change the grouping pattern to 12,34,56,789. 

Click apply and OK. Now open Excel, type any number, change its format to currency and see the change of grouping. Bingo, you have changed the currency grouping style to Indian. Enjoy.
